I’ve been where you are. I know the feeling of being trapped in a constant loop of worry and intrusive thoughts, especially as a mom.. I was filled with guilt and shame, afraid to talk about what I was experiencing, feeling like no one else could possibly understand. I know what it’s like to look at my child and wish I could be fully present, but feeling held back by the overwhelming weight of my thoughts. It took time, patience, and a lot of hard work, but I found a way out. I discovered ICBT, which helped me separate my identity from my thoughts, and learned to trust myself again. Over time, I stopped being paralyzed by anxiety and started to make decisions based on what was best for me and my family — not what my OCD was telling me.
